1. Prompting Nexus AI Copilot
- 1Click the persistent AI bar at the bottom of the screen or open the dedicated AI Chat view from the sidebar.
- 2Type your prompt (e.g. 'Draft a technical specification for OAuth login' or 'Create 5 high-priority tasks for our next sprint').
- 3Nexus references your active workspace documents, graph nodes, and backlog context to generate comprehensive answers.
2. Selecting AI Models & Intelligence Profiles
- 1Click the Model Selector dropdown located in the AI prompt header.
- 2Select your preferred reasoning engine: Flash (sub-second speed for everyday queries) or Pro (advanced structured reasoning and synthesis).
- 3Configure your own custom BYOK API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Groq, Ollama) under Settings Modal > Models.
3. Governed Two-Pass Action Execution
- 1Instruct Nexus to perform workspace mutations (e.g. 'Create a document called API Guidelines and schedule a review next Monday').
- 2Nexus evaluates the request and generates interactive Action Proposal cards within the chat stream.
- 3Click action buttons on the proposal card to review and execute changes safely without manual copy-pasting.
